Our Team

Ann Robohm, Managing Principal
 

Ann got her start working for an employee benefits consulting firm called Alexander and Alexander.  It was here that she developed deep skills in working directly with clients to define employee benefit plans, then assist with the insurance carrier selection and implementation. Specialties developed included training, negotiation, and employee claims  problem resolution. 

 

Ann founded her own brokerage firm acquiring numerious clients that sought her expertise in benefit design, negotiation and practical implementation within the employee base.  Ann sold this business moving on to drive a medical claims processing and practice management firm, and more recently stepping up to handling the business side of Studio 12.

 

Ann  currently contributes to Studio 12 by leading business development, participating in Studio 12's rigorous candidate screening processes, and handling the business functions of the company.

Kurt Robohm, Principal

 

Kurt has applied his expertise across a number of industry verticals - Telecommunications, I/T Custom Application Development, Supply Chain Management, and Medical Practice Management all the while bringing forward creative yet pragmatic ways to respond to objectives.

 

Most recently that work has encompassed establishing a partnershipe with Essers Inc. that has successfully placed I/T staff into Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and Maryland Health Benefit Exchange.

 

Other forcus areas include project management and business development role for a small supply chain consulting firm called Logexsoft. To better respond to needs he became certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

 

Over the past several years Kurt has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial activities to include Consulting, Medical Practice Management, and Product Design and Launch.

 

Despite the technical upbringing, Kurt has branched out into business development, sales and marketing bringing to the table a consultative style that leverages technical knowledge with an ability to uncover and understand business requirements and opportunities. Kurt has created and participated in marketing campaigns, worked within the framework of channel partnerships, and worked in traditional sales capacities.

 

This broad base of experience and skills provides Kurt with the ability to be comfortable and effective in operating in unstructured environments that require thought leadership, managerial leadership, an ability to work at an executive and grass roots level to achieve objectives and a big picture view of requirements, operations and the impacts of approaches that may be chosen to achieve objectives.
